find my next race

About

A neutral race index for endurance athletes.

findmynextrace.com is a global, multi-sport race finder. We index 1,810 races across 9 disciplines so athletes can plan a season without bouncing between a dozen federation websites.

What this site is for

Most race calendars are tied to a single brand or federation: IRONMAN shows you IRONMAN races, HYROX shows you HYROX races, your national athletics body shows you the events it sanctions. Athletes who train across disciplines or travel for racing don't live in one calendar. They juggle five.

We pull all of those calendars into a single index, normalise them onto a shared data model, and let you filter by sport, region, country, distance, and prestige. The race detail pages are the same shape whether you're looking at the IRONMAN World Championship or your local trail half-marathon.

Hybrid athletes, the ones stacking HYROX, running, and strength training in the same season, are exactly the crowd this problem hits hardest. hybridtraining.guide keeps a race calendar for that path, and hybridathlete.guide's competition board indexes the wider taxonomy of hybrid-format racing, from HYROX through Enhanced Games.

Where the data comes from

We ingest race calendars from the official source for each series and re-publish them under a uniform schema. Current sources:

We do not republish race results, photo libraries, or live tracking feeds: those stay on the operator's site. We link out to the official registration page for every event. We don't take entry fees, we don't mark up registrations, and we don't charge organisers to be listed.

How we score race prestige

Every race carries a 1–5 prestige badge. It's a rough gauge of how big a deal a finisher line is: useful for filtering when you want a goal race vs a tune-up vs a fun weekend out.

The score is derived from series, location, prize pool, and finisher volume: not from editorial taste. It's a heuristic; treat it as a starting filter, not a verdict.

How fresh the data is

Race statuses (open / sold out / closed) refresh nightly. Weather norms refresh hourly during peak race-week windows. Canonical recurring events (the “next IRONMAN Vietnam” pointer) update nightly so the catalogue always points at the next live edition. Results from past editions are backfilled where the operator publishes them in a parseable form.

Who's behind it

findmynextrace.com is built and maintained by a small independent team who race, travel for races, and got tired of every operator keeping its calendar in a separate silo. We're not owned by a race operator, a registration platform, or a ticketing agent: that independence is exactly what lets us index them all even-handedly.

Not to be confused with findarace.com, a UK race listings site, or with the "find your next race" calendars published by Finishers, Strava and others: findmynextrace.com is an independent, multi-sport index with its own data model, and it belongs to no race operator.
